Accounting for business owners like you
You are already in business, your business is doing well, and it is successful.
However, you are always striving for more.
Your business could be in Melbourne’s West, however this is not necessarily the case.
Striving for success
Throughout your education you always worked part time jobs to get ahead. You have done your fair share of working for someone else, and now you are building up your own empire. You take the time to improve yourself both professionally and personally, and can be known to be a bit of a perfectionist. You are always looking for new apps, new processes, better ways of doing things, and saving your precious time.
Excellence is a goal of yours and the goal posts are always moving.
Work hard play hard
You have always worked hard to get where you are, and are not stopping any time soon. You love to take holidays, treat your family to dinners and don’t think twice about helping a true friend in need.
You have other assets aside from your business; perhaps a rental property or share portfolio and have a rainy day fund set aside. You live and breathe your business, and at times may get in trouble from your spouse for spending too much time consumed with it. You probably won’t ever retire completely because working is a big part of who you are, but you love to flirt with the idea.
You are tech savvy
You certainly know your way around a computer, and your business could possibly already be set up on Xero. When you don’t know something your first instinct is to google it, and easily adapt to new technologies and programs. You are a Zoom master and hate when things come in the mail.
You treat your staff well
You always pay your staff their entitlements and superannuation on time, and maybe even a bonus or two. You know that retaining an employee is much easier than finding someone new, and because of this you have a small staff turnover rate. You are keenly aware that having happy staff members means that they are more likely to do better work, which in turn makes your clients happy too. You treat your staff with respect and have been known to spoil them on occasions such as Christmas time.
You could use some help
You want to build your business up to grow more wealth, and build this wealth to gain more freedom. You started your business because you love what you do. However, you also love to look to the future and see the business working without you in it physically. You want help to build your team to work better as a group, and to be ahead so as there are no hiccups that will impact you financially along the way.
You don’t want to be thinking about the accounting side of things to your business – you have more important stuff on your mind. You want to know that you can rely on your accountant to meet deadlines, tell you about important things coming up, and that you are doing things in the most efficient and optimised way. You want a long term relationship with someone you can trust, and this is where we come in.
If this (or some of it) sounds like you, then let’s have a conversation.
For sure, we will have lots to talk about!
